San Diego Unified School District is partnering with Peachjar to provide an electronic alternative for distributing fliers.
Peachjar's eflyer management system electronically approves fliers and emails them directly to parents' inboxes. Parents can view eflyers from their smartphone or computer. In addition, fliers are also posted on the school's website for easy viewing. More information about Peachjar can be found on their website.
Peachjar is available for use by all district schools, but it is not required. The district is encouraging schools to use Peachjar because it saves time for school staff, it sends fliers directly to parents rather than using students as the distribution channel, and it saves paper.

Parents
If your school has opted-in to Peachjar, no action is required on your part. You will automatically receive school eflyers in your inbox daily - you do not need to log in to receive or view eflyers. If you prefer to not receive fliers via email, you can opt out in the settings of your Peachjar account. You are able to view eflyers from any device with an internet connection, including smartphones, tablets and home or library computers, by clicking on the Peachjar button on your school's website. Additionally, schools may have a few paper versions of fliers in the front office.
This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved fliers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
For more information, visit Peachjar's "How it Works for Parents" page.
Parent Groups
If you are a parent group from a participating school and wish to distribute a flier, contact your school office staff. Your school administration may grant you free uploading privileges or may choose to upload your eflyer on your behalf.
Community Organizations
San Diego Unified School District schools distribute fliers to its students on behalf of organizations as a courtesy to the community.
Schools shall only authorize distribution of fliers that promote core-curriculum based programs, classes or activities and are from non-profit organizations, or those organizations/businesses specifically approved by the Board of Education and stated in Administrative Procedure 9350. Fliers promoting programs, classes or activities that compete/conflict with San Diego Unified School District programs may not be approved. The school/principal reserves the right to deny any request.
If you wish to distribute fliers at a school using Peachjar, follow the steps below.
Please note: District approval is not needed for fliers distributed through Peachjar.
Your flier will be automatically submitted to the school for approval. School staff will review the material and approve or deny based on Administrative Procedure 9350 and District Policy. Peachjar charges a fee for this service, which is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper fliers to each school. Once the flier is approved, it will be posted online and emailed directly to parents.
Please note that schools who use Peachjar will not distribute paper fliers.
